All songs are autobiographical to a degree, and I admit this one is high on that scale.  I wrote this a few years ago and find that as the years go by the lyrics become more and more significant.

The extended guitar solos became an exercise in layered harmonies and they go on a bit, but if you get into the song from the start I think it builds well to a pleasing sonic climax.
